How many people are lucky enough to fall into doing something they love?

I’ve spent 25 years at the coal face of the technology industry, both watching and playing a role in the transformation of businesses through the delivery of technology consulting services. And yet, with the AI revolution on the horizon, it’s just been a warm-up of what’s to come…

I can safely say that my journey has been nothing short of amazing. I love the technology field but if there's one thing I cherish more than using technology to solve problems, it's having the opportunity to solve the puzzles that keep entrepreneurs awake at night, to clear the path for innovation by eliminating inefficiencies that stifle progress and thereby ignite growth within organisations.

My name is Joel Stehr, and I founded KXT with a singular vision: to leverage the 25 years of experience I have in consulting and technology along with my passion for problem-solving to help tech services businesses streamline their operations. The goal? To enable those businesses to grow seamlessly, without the growing pains that I’ve experienced that too often come with success.

I understand the multifaceted challenges that founders and leaders of growing service firms face daily. Wearing multiple hats, constantly switching contexts, navigating through a sea of distractions — it can be overwhelming and exhausting. I should know. I've been in those shoes.

For the past 15 years, I've dedicated myself to refining processes, business structure and implementing cutting-edge tooling. All designed to minimise distractions, reduce administrative overhead, and cut through the noise, with the goal of eliminating chaos and confusion and providing real-time access to business-critical data. I’d like to think I’ve learned a thing or two along the way. I’ve helped one business grow so fast that a competitor couldn’t help but acquire us. And driven another through more structured growth getting to the point that I’ve been able to step out of the day-to-day operations.
